Former AKB48 member Maeda Atsuko has announced that she is pregnant.

Maeda Atsuko revealed that she had married Katsuji Ryo back in July. While the details were barely announced last month, it seems like the good news keep on coming with the fact that she is expecting a child soon.

As for Atsuko, she mentioned that she is in good health and is in a stable period of her pregnancy. She also mentioned that she will continue working as long as she is able to, which is great.

The surprising news that Atsuko had gotten married was welcome by most AKB48 fans, and it seems like we have something else to celebrate now. We are not sure when the baby is due, but we expect to hear some updates in the near future.
