SILENT SIREN Change Labels, Announce New Single and Best Of Album

SILENT SIREN have announced that they will be transferring from their current record label Universal Music to EMI Records.

To mark the change, the band has announced a new single and a Best Of album.

The 12th single will be titled Fujiyama Disco and will be released on March 1st in 4 different editions: Regular (CD), 2 Limited editions (CD+DVD), as well as an FC-exclusive edition (CD+DVD+PB). This will be their 1st release on EMI Records.

Also releasing that day is SILENT SIREN’s 1st Best Of album titled Silent Siren Selection which will contain 31 songs chosen by the members. There will be two editions: Regular (CD) and Limited (CD+DVD). The DVD will contain 23 music videos.

To top it all of, Silent Siren will now be known as SILENT SIREN. This by itself is an interesting move but with a new label change I imagine they wanted to spice things.

It’s fair to note that EMI Records is a sub-label of Universal Music Japan, so they are technically still under them. Regardless, it’s still a great amount of releases for fans of this talented band, with the Best Of album being the standout release.

Taking a look at the track list provided it seems like most of their releases are covered, with early singles as well as their latest releases. Also, the fact that Fujiyama Disco will contain 4 tracks is a treat since that promises to give fans plenty of new music.

Hopefully we get some previews and covers in the coming months since it seems like SILENT SIREN are in for a standout year!
