Former Morning Musume member Konno Asami has announced that she has married Tokyo Yakult Swallows baseball player Sugiura Toshihiro.
The couple married on January 1st.
While the announcement came as a surprise to many it seems like the couple have been dating for quite some time. In fact, it might be Konno Asami’s job as an announcer that led them to meet.
But, I’m glad to see that she found someone who she feels comfortable with. She even mentions on her blog the many fun experiences the couple have gone through and how they felt the bond develop.
It’s great to see that they have decided to spend their lives together in happiness and we wish the best for the happy couple. Congratulations Konkon!
