ShuuKaRen “UNIVERSE” MVs Released

ShuuKaRen, an E-girls unit consisting of Fujii Shuuka and Fujii Karen, have released MVs for their debut single titled UNIVERSE.

Out October 5th, it will be available in 3 editions: a Regular version with a CD and DVD, a Limited CD and DVD with a 52-page booklet, as well as a one coin edition.

The MV for UNIVERSE is fairly stylish, with scenes of ShuuKaRen singing while performing in colorful settings. You can’t forget about those stylish, bass-heavy Beats though (it’s a CM after all), as we see them using them during a few shots.

Song-wise, it’s a solid song that features both members singing to the hip-hop styled instrumental. It’s calm at times, but the two vocals complement well while the two sisters dance their way through the song.

Unfortunately, it appears to be blocked outside of Japan (unless you have a VPN) but those who can see it are encouraged to do so since it sounds like a solid release.

Due to the collaboration with PKCZ, the song has a heavier hip-hop feel to it that fans will appreciate. It doesn’t show much of ShuuKaRen but the song seems catchy and well worth a listen for those who are hyped about this release.

The song is available for pre-release starting today on Apple Music, so if you’re able to listen to it I highly recommend you do so since it’s turning out to be an amazing song for this interesting duo!
