GEM have released the MV for their new song titled Sugar Baby.
Out February 15th, the single will be released in 3 types: CD only, CD + Blu-ray, and an exclusive mu-mo version.
Packed full of colorful scenes, the members of GEM sing as they enjoy a fairly normal day in the life of an idol at school. The standout theme of the release is the amount of color they added, with every shot showing off a nice combination of visual delights. In fact, the only negative I saw in the release is that there are so many lens flares and other light effects (almost every shot has one).
Sound-wise it’s a fairly common avex release. There is a slight rap touch to it, with a fairly solid EDM instrumental and vocals from all of the members. Despite that, the vocals of each of the members are what make the MV amazing, with the most notable part being the long note after the bridge.
It’s a sweet MV that fans of the more upbeat variety will adore, so make sure to check it out!
