AKB48 have announced the release of their 48th single titled Negaigoto no Mochigusare.

Out May 31st, the single was announced at the group’s recent event at Makuhari Messe.

The centers for this single have been revealed to be Matsui Jurina and Miyawaki Sakura. A complete list of the Senbatsu results is available at the end of this post.

The details for the 49th Senbatsu Sousenkyo have also been released with voting taking place from May 30th until June 6th. Preliminary results will be revealed on May 31st at the AKB48 Theater, with final results taking place at Toyosaki Seaside Park in Okinawa on June 17th.

As you can tell this won’t take place in an arena like previous years. Thankfully, fans will be able to enjoy a sunny beach as the location while they await results for that Senbatsu.
