SKE48 Announce 21st Single, Titled “Igai ni Mango”

SKE48 have announced the release of their 21st single titled Igai ni Mango.

Out July 19th, the single will be released in 8 editions: 4 Regular and 4 Limited.

The lineup for this release will feature 16 members, including:

Team S
Kitagawa Ryoha, Matsui Jurina

Team KII
Ego Yuna, Oba Mina, Obata Yuna, Kitano Ruka, Souda Sarina, Takayanagi Akane, Takeuchi Saki, Hidaka Yuzuki, Furuhata Nao

Team E
Kimoto Kanon, Kumazaki Haruka, Goto Rara, Suda Akari

Kenkyuusei
Yahagi Yukina

While we have no information about the actual content of each version, we do get to enjoy the covers for this release. Not surprisingly they are packed full of mangoes, idols, clear waves, and bikinis making for the perfect summertime release.

Unfortunately, the water and the mangoes seem to have been added afterwards so fans of this delicious fruit are sure to be disappointed for the lack of realism. However, the covers for the Regular versions make up for it by showing off the members as they wear the traditional seifuku with a blue ribbon on it (even the covers have ribbons!).

Overall, they’re great looking covers and I’m excited to find out more in the coming weeks about this sun packed release. Make sure to stay tuned for more info!
