EMPiRE have finally debuted with their first MV for Akarui Mirai.

It has been a long time coming but we are finally getting a chance to enjoy an MV featuring WACK’s latest creation in collaboration with avex: EMPiRE.

Thankfully the MV doesn’t disappoint since we get to see an epic beginning to the MV with all of the members on a dark stage. As they rise they reveal their identities, sing to the camera, dance on stage, and more as the MV progresses. There’s also some scenes of a skull with bunny ears which is rather weird but hey, it’s in there.

The choreography was done by BiSH’s Aina The End, which means that there are several movements that all tell a story (according to her it’s about them becoming human after being monkeys). In fact, if you’ve seen BiSH perform live then you are aware of how artistic their movements are and thankfully we get to see EMPiRE do a few of them here.

I’ve been a big fan of the group since I first saw them so it’s a relief to finally be able to tell their voices apart. As for the members, I was impressed with their performance. Everyone had a solid amount of screen time with their singing skills being on point. But so far I have to admit that MiDORiKO has my attention (mostly because of her cool gauges).
