Dempagumi.inc member Yumemiru Nemu has announced that she will be graduating from the group and retiring from the entertainment industry.
According to Nemu’s graduation notice, she mentions that it took her a long time to choose to graduate and retire from the entertainment industry. After 10 years of being a member, she thanks fans and supporters for cheering for her and allowing her to fulfill her dreams.
Nemu plans to continue to produce her original character Tanukyun and will also open a bookstore after she retires. Nemu will also release her 1st and only solo album titled Yumemi Jidai on November 21st.
Yumemi Nemu will graduate from Dempagumi.inc on January 7, 2019. Her last performance will take place at Nippon Budokan. She will completely retire from the entertainment industry by the end of March 2019.
Dempagumi.inc will also release a new album titled Wareware Dempagumi.inc. The album will be out New Years Day 2019. This will be their 1st album since April 2016 with GOGO DEMPA, the first to feature Nemoto Nagi and Kaname Rin, as well as the last to feature Yumemi Nemu.
Well, this is sudden.
Dempagumi.inc is one of those idol groups that has a relatively stable lineup, with Nemu being one of those members that has been around for so long. However, her move to graduate is one that was expected since most idol tend to hit the 10 year mark and decide to move on to other stuff.
Her voice and fun personality will definitely be missed in future releases, but thankfully she plans on opening a bookstore so fans will be able to show their support in other ways. We wish Yumemi Nemu the best of luck!

It’s never fun to hear someone’s graduating, especially with the prospect of retiring from the industry. However, considering the long career she’s had, Yumemi Nemu’s more than earned that right to do so.
