Namie Amuro has released the lyric video for her upcoming single titled HERO.

Releasing July 27th, the single will be used as the theme song for the coverage of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil by NHK.

HERO sounds like an epic ballad, with a slow tone to it combined with a somewhat inspiring instrumental. Slow, but determined, the melody makes the perfect song for those who will be watching the Olympics.

Apart from the music we get to enjoy a few scenes of Namie as she shoots the visuals for her single. It’s not exactly an MV, but fans will be happy to get a small behind the scenes preview of what they will be enjoying in a few weeks.

Overall an inspiring and determined ballad that is a solid entry for Namie Amuro!
