AKB48 Team B member Tanabe Miku has announced that she will be graduating.
The graduation was revealed during the group’s 10th anniversary show at AKB48 Theater.
According to her comments, she mentioned how she has been thinking about her graduation for about a year. Despite her not standing out that much in the past 10 years, she feels that winning the Janken tournament has allowed her to reach her goals and made her dreams come true.
Tanabe Miku joined AKB48 as part of the 3rd generation in 2007.
No comments were made regarding her plans after graduation or when she will be graduating.
Being in an idol group usually means that not everyone will be able to get a chance to shine in the spotlight. Fortunately, Tanabe Miku managed to shine among AKB48’s many members in the Janken tournament and made her dreams come true.
