Momoiro Clover Z practice kung fu for their 18th single titled Xiao yi Xiao.

Out Aprill 11th, the single will be released in a Momoiro Clover Z version and a Crayon Shin Chan version.

The single will be used as the opening theme song for a Crayon Shin Chan movie titled Crayon Shin-chan: Burst Serving! Kung Fu Boys – Ramen Rebellion -.

With a name like Xiao yi Xiao you know that you’re in for an MV packed full of Chinese elements, and we’re not disappointed. In this release we get to see Momoiro Clover Z as they wear some colorful Chinese inspired outfits and practice kung fu.

It’s a fun release and one that’s sure to please fans who will be able to see the members as they do acrobatic stunts all around the colorful stage. From flying across the air to breaking sticks with their behinds, there’s a wide variety of situations they get in as they practice with a kung fu master.

In fact, those energetic scenes are a perfect match for this release which has a more energetic sound. It’s a bit slower compared to other releases, but it’s easy to see why younger fans would enjoy it more.
