NECRONOMIDOL give in to the darkness for their STRANGE AEONS MV.
Out September 29th, the track is part of their 3rd album titled VOIDHYMN.
All the superheroes have their origin stories, showing off how they gained their powers. Well, it seems like NECRONOMIDOL are doing the same, showing off how carefree and innocent they were before they were experienced the power of the dark.
Starting off, we get to see some scenes of the group as innocent and carefree girls. These shots alone are a pretty fun addition since they adds some variety to the normally dark MVs we see from them. Soon the MV becomes twisted, showing off some scenes masked sorcerer (Ricky, the manager of the group) walking through the streets before unleashing Cthulhu and some spells on the members.
The entire MV is a treat, showing off some fun effects and scenes that match the relatively heavy song. It’s not as dark as their previous releases, but it has a fun, heavy sound that matches the epicness of the scenes we see. Some fans have been describing it as anime-esque, which fits in well with what I imagine a NECRONOMIDOL-styled anime theme would sound like.
