Nogizaka46 member Nishino Nanase has announced that she will be graduating.

According to her graduation notice, Nanase mentioned how she has been thinking about leaving the group for the past year. She mentions how much she has enjoyed being part of Nogizaka46 for the past 7 years and expressed gratitude for the support from staff, fans, and other members.

She mentioned that she wishes to continue doing the same type of work once she graduates, which means that we can expect to see her in the entertainment business in some way.

Her graduation concert has not been finalized, but it will be held early next year.

Nanse is one of the original members of Nogizaka46, joining back in 2011. This by itself is sure to be a rather sad bit of news for fans who have followed the group since then, but it’s one of those inevitable parts of being an idol fan.

However, we still seem to have quite some time until she graduates, so it gives us plenty of time to enjoy her singing and performing before her graduation concert.
