Higeki no Heroine Shoukougun haunt our hearts with their delightfully dark MV for their debut single titled Silent Cry.
Out August 6th, the single will be released in 1 normal edition and 6 member editions.
It’s been a while since we’ve gotten a new idol group to look forward to. Well, that’s changing with Higeki no Heroine Shoukougun, a group that has a promising and rather interesting dark orchestral sound.
Their debut MV for Silent Cry has them in a variety of dark scenes involving the members wearing white dresses. One scene shows them in red ropes, while another has a member surrounded by hands while they stare at the camera. It’s unsettling and incredibly well done, making for a fantastic and borderline artful debut from this group.
As for the song, Silent Cry may be among the most epic releases I’ve heard this week. It packs in a mix of orchestral sounds with heavy guitars, drums, and other string instruments thrown in. My mind was blown when the song started and as the MV played I got even more intrigued by how well the vocals played out.
Higeki no Heroine Shoukougun have quickly caught my eye and will be a group I look out for in the future. So, what do you think of them? Check out the MV below and look forward to more from this interesting group!
