ANGERME member Katsuta Rina has announced her graduation from the group and Hello! Project.
According to her graduation notice, she mentions that she has wanted to graduate from the group for a year. However, she discussed the idea with staff and settled on waiting until Wada Ayaka had graduated to make the announcement.
Rina mentions that she wishes to work in the fashion industry, and that she will announce future plans as they are fixed.
Katsuta Rina’s graduation will be on September 25th at Pacifico Yokohama.
This is a bit of an interesting time to be an ANGERME fan. Wada Ayaka recently graduated from ANGERME, leaving behind a solid lineup of members who will continue on the legacy of the group. But, it seems like there is one more graduation in the horizon.
As always, I’m excited to see members pursue their passion in life and this is no exception. Katsuta Rina may have not been the ace of the group, but she is still a fantastic member who will be missed.
For those who wish to continue supporting her, you’ll be glad to hear that there might be an opportunity for her with Up-Front. The president of Up-Front mentions that there were talks about having her continue artistic activities with the company if she wishes, which is fantastic.
