Shida Yuumi – Left, Arai Hitomi – Right

TOKYO GIRLS’ STYLE member Arai Hitomi and Yumemiru Adolescence member Shida Yuumi have formed a special unit titled Shida Summer Arai Summer.

With a summer theme, the unit will be releasing their single Shakunetsu Summer ~SUMMER KING x SUMMER QUEEN~ on July 6th.

Not many details are known about the actual single other than there being Regular and a Limited edition (CD+DVD).

Collaborations between two members from different groups is somewhat rare among the J-pop scene, which makes this duo an interesting unit.

For now, we don’t have much to go based off for what the single might sound like but fans who have attended recent events have a good idea of what to expect.
