The MVs for Ayumi Hamasaki’s tracks titled FLOWER and Mad World have been released.

The album MADE IN JAPAN saw an early exclusive release on streaming platforms exclusively to Japan earlier this month, but will be available for fans to enjoy physically and digitally on June 29th.

FLOWER has a traditional feel to it at first, combined with the amazing vocals that Ayumi is known for. After a brief intro though, the instrumental suddenly gets a rock feel to it with guitars playing as the tone of voice gets a bit more harsh.

Mad World is a bit more traditional with a ballad feel to it that fans are sure to love. Visually it’s classy and fits the mood nicely, with Ayumi in a monochrome video coupled with scenes from her past releases playing in the background.

Visually both videos are amazing, with a strong tone to each that matches the feel of their respective songs. In terms of sound, I was impressed to see a contrast between the two, since Ayumi is more known for her ballads. But, I am glad to see that she is still trying out new sounds to this day.
