Morning Musume Sexy Cat

Morning Musume ’16 have released the MV for their upcoming single titled Sexy Cat no Enzetsu.

Out November 23rd, the single will be released alongside two other tracks titled Sou Janai / Mukidashi de Mukiatte.

Sexy Cat no Enzetsu shows off a unique funky styled song with a mature tone to it. This slow paced song has a catchy chorus as well as plenty of saxophone pairing well with the darker setting that shows off the members and their darker outfits well.

The highlight of the MV is that Fukumura Mizuki, Kudo Haruka, and Oda Sakura are dressed as cats (Yes Tsunku, yes!), and most of the MV revolves around them doing what cats do best: hitting things off tables. It’s a cute addition, although confusing it is a big plus seeing Mizuki and Sakura as cats.

For the most part, it’s not the most upbeat song but it does show off the members in a more mature sounding release that is sure to please fans of the more grown-up Momusu.
