Momoiro Clover Z member Sasaki Ayaka has released the MV for her 1st solo release titled My Cherry Pie.

Out August 23rd, the track will be a double a-side release alongside My Hamburger Boy.

Idols doing the 80’s rock theme are fairly rare, but thankfully Sasaki Ayaka is getting a solo release of her own that is packed with so much 80’s that it’s starting to give Musubizm a run for their money.

The outfits are straight from a Grease movie, the neon signs are amazing, and of course the dance moves are all perfect for this song. My Cherry Pie itself is fairly catchy too, having a sound that is both rock and idol at the same time. Sure, the vocals are done by the male version of Ayaka, but it has a sound that is idol-ish with a cute sound.

The other a-side My Hamburger Boy will most likely have her as the girl singing to him, so make sure to get a copy of the single to find out how it sounds. For now, check out this catchy MV!
