Niji no Conquistador hit the Okinawan beach in the colorful MV for Ai wo Kokoro ni Summer to Kaze yo.
Out July 10th, the single will be released in 8 editions.
It’s hard to imagine it but Niji no Conquistador have been around for 5 years. That’s a lot of time in the idol world, and naturally it calls for a celebration. Yes, it’s time for the yearly tradition that many Nijicon wotas look forward to: the bikini MV.
First, let’s talk about the song. Nijicon are a pretty upbeat group and this song is no exception. The vocals especially are a treat to enjoy since they’re vibrant and full of energy. It has catchy hooks and an instrumental that will make you want to get up and dance.
Not surprisingly, that’s what we get to see throughout the MV, with the members going to an ice cream shop, sharing some cake, and dancing on a patio deck while wearing colorful outfits. It’s a fun video that shows the unique approach that Nijicon bring to the idol world.
Of course, we have to talk about the bikinis and yes, they’re definitely there. Nemoto Nagi naturally is the highlight of this release, but thankfully there are a handful of cute shots that show off all of the members in a series of shots. The focus is not completely on the bikinis so those who prefer a dose of cuteness are in for a treat.
