SKE48 Team E member Kimoto Kanon will be graduating from the group.
Kanon’s graduation was announced during a LIVE performance in the SKE48 Theater on October 27th. In her blog post she explains how she is now 20 years old and she has started thinking about her next steps in life. She thanks fans for their support during her 7 years as part of the group.
Her graduation is set for the end of November.
Kimoto Kanon joined SKE48 as a Kenkyuusei on September 2010. She was soon promoted to Team E on December 2010 and has remained part of SKE48 since then. Kanon has also held a concurrent position in HKT48’s Team KIV from February 2014 to March 2015.
Being part of a group for 7 years is no easy task, but it’s hard to deny that after that much time in a group it’s necessary to go for a change. Sure, we don’t have any idea what she will be doing after she leaves but we wish her all the best and hope she can achieve her dreams and goals. Best of luck Kanon!
