AKB48 Release Coupling MVs For Their 50th Single

AKB48 have released the MVs for their tracks titled Omoidasete Yokatta, Ikiru Koto no Nekkyou wo!, Hohoemi no Shunkan, Yaban na Kyuu Ai, and Hotei Sokudo to Yuuetsukan.

Out November 22nd, the tracks are part of AKB48’s 50th single titled 11gatsu no Anklet.

Get ready for a lot of AKB48 goodness.

Omoidasete Yokatta
STU48 (Type A Exclusive)

Kicking off we have STU48 with their relaxing ballad Omoidasete Yokatta. For most of the MV we get to see the members setting up a series of flags, but we also get shots of them singing, dancing, and even a small glimpse of them sitting down to eat. It’s short and sweet, but a tad on the “too calm” side at times.

Ikiru Koto no Nekkyou wo!
Team 8 (Type B Exclusive)

If you enjoy slower tracks then you’re in for a treat with this MV. As the ballad plays, we get to see the members moving around in slow motion while doing stuff such as kicking cans. There are some other scenes of dancing that are full speed, making for a nice mix of visuals.

Hohoemi no Shunkan
7 Byougo, Kimi ga Suki ni Naru (Type C Exclusive)

A new unit has formed and with it comes a unique MV to enjoy. This one showcases the members as they stand on a carousel as they pose, making for a delightfully calm and relaxing MV. There are also scenes of them singing and dancing among several dangerously hanging light bulbs.

Yaban na Kyuu Ai
Dance Senbatsu (Type D Exclusive)

What kind of song do you expect for a Dance Senbatsu group? One packed full of catchy beats and a lot of breakdancing of course. Thankfully, this MV is packed full of that. Throw on your red gear and get ready to throw it down with these talented members.

Hotei Sokudo to Yuuetsukan
U-17 Senbatsu (Type E Exclusive)

This one is one of the most interesting MVs to come out of this single and my favorite of the bunch. Packed full of cosplaying members, we get to enjoy as all of the members daydream through their classes in a series of comic book panels. It’s adorable, colorful, and on the upbeat side.
