AKB48 Team K member Yuuka Tano has announced that she will be graduating from the group.
According to her, she decided to graduate before the new Team K shuffle for AKB48’s 12th anniversary began activities. She mentions how she will work hard to get stronger in her life.
No graduation date has been announced as of this date.
Tano joined AKB48 as a Kenkyuusei member on April 2011. From there she was promoted to Team 4 in March 2012, transferred to Team A on August 2012, and finally moved to Team K on February 2014.
It’s unfortunate to see a member like Yuuka leave the group, especially after having been part of the group for almost 7 years. In fact, the most common reaction to this news is that some fans were already expecting her to announce her graduation.
Despite not knowing where she will be going or what she will be up to, we wish her the best of luck and hope that she’s able to find happiness in life. Good luck Tano!
