NGT48 say goodbye in the MV for Watashi no Tame ni and explore space in the MV for Ato de.

Out April 11th, the tracks are part of their 3rd single titled Haru wa Dokokara Kuru no ka?

Kicking us off we have Watashi no Tame ni, the graduation song for Kitahara Rie. It’s a ballad, and one that’s done amazingly well. From the shots of her singing on stage to her looking into the mirror, there’s a surprising amount of detail put into every shot. Sure, there’s an ominous bucket of red paint above her, but it’s a surprisingly sweet goodbye for Rie.

Next up we’re headed to space with NGT48 in what can only be called one of the most weird and colorful MV ever. In it we get to see the members as they explore an alien world. They play around this world, check out plants on this world, and even stare in disbelief as they take off their helmets.

It’s a weird release, but the song definitely gets the honor of being the highlight of this release. It has some off timing, it’s happy, it’s pretty much one of those songs you listen to once and say “Huh, that was something”. Overall an MV that’s worth a watch because of how out there it is.
