Morning Musume ’18 get down in the colorful MV for their 65th single titled A gonna.

Out June 13th, the single is a double a-side release alongside Are you Happy?

What happens when you combine a modern E-girls beat with Morning Musume ’18? You get A gonna, a track packed full of powerful EDM beats and slow paced vocals.

The biggest appeal of this release is that it’s not like any other Momusu release, instead going for a more modern sound that’s sure to appeal to newer fans. For example, the silence in between the strong beats helps add depth, making this song a unique one among the many releases that Morning Musume ’18 are known for.

Visually, it’s on the simple side. The warehouse look does fit in with the vibe of the song, but I wish we could have seen a bit more to help make this release even better. Maybe adding a few shots of Momusu doing the A sign outside while posing would have helped.
