Former C-ute member Suzuki Airi jams out with AKAIKOEN in the MV for To the light.

Out now, the track is part of her debut album titled Do me a favor.

Simple MVs are hard to nail down. Thankfully, the latest Suzuki Airi MV manages to hit the sweet spot just in time for the release of her debut album.

Kicking us off we get to enjoy a rather simple setting with Airi and AKAIKOEN jamming out in the middle of a pink and white colored space. It’s simple, but the nice combination of effects and camera angles fits in perfectly for the intense instrumental that AKAIKOEN plays.

Speaking off the song, it’s an amazing one. Airi’s sweet vocals fit in surprisingly well with the fast paced music, making for a nostalgic return to her Buono! days. Yes, there are times when the instrumental overpowers her voice, but it’s still a relatively great example of how well Airi’s voice fits in with so many genres.
