Kyary Pamyu Pamyu does weird, colorful stuff in the MV for Oto no Kuni.

Out now, the track is part of her 4th album titled Japanmyu.

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is the queen of weirdness, nobody can deny that. If you needed some evidence of that then you should look no further than her latest MV for Oto no Kuni. Oh boy, it’s weird.

Costumes are her thing and thankfully we get a ton of them with this release. From a giant outfit with a star hat and fluffy samurai-styled pants to a blue ninja outfit with an LCD headband, each shot features a different Japanese-inspired outfit. But, the highlight of this release is the fact that the shots are all layered like a kaleidoscope. This style helps bring the MV to life and adds a ton of variety to the MV.

As for the song, Oto no Kuni is classic Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. The beats are electronic and packed to the brim with her sweet vocals. Add in some catchy riffs and you have yourself a truly stellar KPP release. Yes, it’s a bit too calm for some but it’s worth a listen if you’re into her music.
