STU48 show off their boat in the MV for their track Shukkou.
Out February 13th, the track is a coupling release for their 2nd single titled Kaze o Matsu.
After enjoying a one-shot MV for Kaze o Matsu in Onomichi, STU48 are back to reassure fans that plans for them getting a boat are still underway. In fact, they show off the boat and just how close they are to finishing it in the MV for their coupling track Shukkou.
Most of the MV takes place on the boat, where the members perform in the half-finished rooms and dance on the decks. Whether that’s safe or not is up to the viewer to decide, but it’s nice to see that it is still underway and that they are pretty close to finishing it off.
As the members carefully make their way throughout, we get a variety of handheld shots of the members singing and dancing in a variety of locations. They’re the main part of the MV and are a treat to enjoy since they give each member a chance to shine.
As for the song, Shukkou is a rather pleasant release to enjoy. It’s calm and hopeful ballad with the vocals adding in a nice touch to give it some variety. It won’t be winning any awards for best song but it’s a pleasant way to enjoy the scenes of the members excitedly making their way through the half-complete boat.
This MV is sure to calm down those who have been worried by the many delays that the boat has had. For now, enjoy the MV below and grab that single if you haven’t already!
