Perfume have announced the release of a best-of album titled Perfume The Best: P Cubed.
Out September 19th, the album will contain 52 songs.
The album was announced during an airing of their show Perfume LOCKS! There it was mentioned by A-chan that the album would help people who don’t know their music but have heard of them to be able to get to know them.
The best-of album will contain 3 CDs with remastered versions of old songs as well as 2 new songs for a total of 52 songs. One of the new songs included is titled Nana Nana Na Iro which was used as the CM theme for a face mask by Kracie.
There will be 3 types of releases, but a total of 5 editions:
- Complete Production Edition: Blu-ray or DVD, 3 CDs, PB, and special goods depending on the store you buy it from (UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE or ASMART)
- Limited Edition: Blu-ray or DVD + 3 CDs
- Regular Edition: 3 CDs
The track list for the album was made by staff and the members, so those who are concerned they’ll simply pick the highest selling songs are in good hands. In addition, Perfume will also be celebrating their 15th major debut anniversary on the release date of the album so there is bound to be some special performances around that time.
