Out July 24th, the track is part of their 25th single titled FRUSTRATION.

After dazzling us with their house party in the MV for FRUSTRATION, we’re getting a chance to enjoy even more from SKE48’s latest single. So, can we expect the same excitement from the main track for their latest MV? Well … kind of.

Taking place on a studio, we get to see SKE48 members as they take part of a photo shoot. It’s not the most exciting of settings but we do get to see the members looking their best and posing for some shots.  Basically, it’s a decent theme for what is a typical coupling ballad.

Actually, let’s talk about the song. Ano Hi no Secret Base has an interesting sound. There’s the aforementioned slow pace but there’s also the use of fast-paced vocals. It’s something that the ’48 groups have been using in their past few releases and I’ll have to admit that I’m not too into it. But hey, it’s a decent coupling track.
