Ariyasu Momoka has announced her decision to graduate from Momoiro Clover Z and to retire from entertainment business.

According to her personal blog, she mentioned how she has been part of the entertainment world since she was a child. After looking at the world around her, she has decided to live life as an ordinary woman.

Her plans after graduation are currently unknown, with her mentioning that she wants to live life without planning anything.

She will graduate from Momoiro Clover Z on January 21st. The group will continue with only 4 members.

Ariyasu Momoka is by far one of Momoiro’s most recognizable members, which makes this move a rather surprising announcement. In fact, she had just released her 1st solo album Kokoro no Oto back in October 2017.

However, with her having finished her education at Nihon University it seems like a great next step to take in her life. Sure, we won’t know what she’s up to but she is sure to have fun enjoying life off the stage and focusing on her life. Best of luck Momoka!
