BiSH have announced that member Aina the End will be receiving surgery to remove vocal cord nodules.
There will be a free live called iN THE END where Aina will perform before undergoing surgery. She will be making a return for the group’s NEVERMiND TOUR next year.
When it rains it pours, several members of the idol community have already received similar treatments, such as C-ute’s Okai Chisato, SKE48’s Takayanagi Akane, DEEP GIRL’s Mashilo, and most recently ANGERME’s Takagi Sayuki.
As mentioned in those posts, vocal chord nodules are simply growths on the vocal cords which aren’t harmful, but cause shortness of breath as well as a hoarse voice.
Aina the End of course is well known for having a unique voice, with a powerful, hoarse tone that is nothing short of the blood of what makes BiSH who they are. It will be interesting to see just how her voice is impacted since she is after all on the deeper vocal side.
Despite that, we wish Aina the best as she goes through her surgery!
