BABYMETAL get dark in the MV for their new song titled Distortion.
Out now, the song is a digital-only release and is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes.
Well, there goes the “When is BABYMETAL releasing new music?” joke.
Fans were surprised a few days before the start of BABYMETAL’s world tour with an all-new release. In it we get to see as a series of people wearing costumes slowly do stuff, like dancing, standing, and generally just looking cool. Does it fit the music? Not really, but ti does give us a cool background from which to enjoy the song.
Of course, the main goal of this release is the song and it’s by far an amazing one. It’s incredibly heavy, featuring guitars and drums that dominate the instrumental. Vocally it’s no slouch either, with Su-metal’s clean vocals cutting through the growling vocals with ease.
