NMB48 Team BII member Uemura Azusa has announced that she has decided to leave the group.
Uemura Azusa thanked fans for their support in a blog post, later writing that her decision to leave came after much thought. However, she decided that she wanted to take a different path and has decided to move on.
Her decision to leave the group was immediate.
Idols normally have a graduation ceremony when they decide to leave a group, but once in a while we get to see a member simply get up an leave, such as today. We don’t know the exact reasons as to what prompted Uemura to leave, but from her blog post it seems like she did enjoy her time in NMB48 but simply decided to do something else.
As for her future plans in life it seems like she has decided to become a Youtube personality for the time being and has already started a Youtube channel. Unfortunately, the fan reaction to her first upload is …. not good, which comes as no surprise due to the sudden departure from the group. However, she already has 10,000 subscribers so that’s good news for the future of her channel.
For now, we wish the best of luck to Uemura Azusa and hope that she finds success as a Youtuber!
