AKB48 dance among 3,450 outfits in the colorful MV for their 55th single titled Jiwaru DAYS.
Out March 13th, the single will be available in 7 editions: Type A, B, C, and Theater.
This is the last single for Sashihara Rino who will graduate from the group on April 28th.
With 55 singles under their belt, it’s not surprising to see that AKB48 have worn 3,450 outfits during their lifespan. It’s an incredible amount of outfits and many of us haven’t had a chance to see them all. Thankfully, we get to see them decorate the walls in the MV for AKB48’s 55th single and the result is pretty colorful.
It’s a simple MV for the part, with the members dancing on a set packed full of dresses and outfits covering every single inch of the walls. It’s a unique release celebrating the history of Sashihara Rino and one that is sure to make fans excited since it points out a variety of singles that she has been part of in.
We don’t only get dresses though since there are some Making Of pictures shown throughout the MV, which help give it a tad more variety. All of this is shown as we enjoy a relatively calm ballad with a nostalgic touch.
