Maison book girl walk in a grim factory in the MV for Kujira Koujou.
Out April 3rd, the track will be part of their new single titled SOUP.
Wait, I hear something. Could it be? That xylophone intro can only come from our favorite artistic group: Maison book girl. It’s been some time since we last heard of them, but their MV for Kujira Koujou is a rather impressive one.
Surprisingly, the MV is not as artistic as other releases. Instead of the weird shots that kept us up at night, we now get to see the members as they walk around a factory in a grim future. They spend most of their time walking and singing to the camera while blur effects are used between scenes as they show a person wearing a plague mask from time to time.
It’s a bit more of a traditional idol MV due to all of the solo/dance shots and one that is welcome since it matches the sound of Kujira Koujou perfectly. Sure, the song is similar sounding to every other single they’ve release before, but the vocals help give it a bit of a distinguishing sound.
If you’re looking for a release that doesn’t sound like Maison book girl, then you’ll have to skip this one out. But, if you’re looking for something to chill with, then you’re in luck. It’s a song that captures the essence of the group, xylophone and all, for fans to enjoy.
Give it a watch below and grab a copy of SOUP!
