Morning Musume ’19 have announced new member auditions in an event called LOVE Audition.
The LOVE Audition site states that they are looking for 5th grade elementary to high school 2nd year girls living in Japan (around 10-17 years). Those who apply should be confident in their singing and dancing, looking for a “new self”, and want to make use of their skills and strengths.
Applications will be taken until February 15th.
Morning Musume auditions are always exciting since we get to experience the thrill of a potential new member or members joining the group. With the departure of Iikubo Haruna and Ogata Haruna in 2018, this seems like the perfect time for some new members to join the group.
Of course, it’s still pretty early to get too excited but once we get into February and March we should start to see some of the applicants. For now, I encourage everyone to be on the lookout for any updates about this!
