In this week’s Shuukan Idol we have, a ton of MVs from Niji no Conquistador. =LOVE, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, and Predia. We also have a US tour announcement from BABYMETAL, an exciting single release from Momusu, and more in our 7 highlights of the week!
News
> Morning Musume ’19 announce 67th single, titled Seishun Night / Jinsei Blues
Momusu are among the most popular idol groups on the scene so naturally getting a new single from them is pretty exciting. Well, surprise! We’re getting a new single in a month. Previews of the songs are included in the post so make sure to give it a listen or skip them and wait for the MVs since we should be getting them in a couple of weeks.
> Niji no Conquistador get married in Waiting Wedding and party in yukatas for Japoniji Fes
Nijicon are the best, and you don’t have to look further than the 2 MVs that they released recently to see that. In one, we get to see all of the members wearing wedding dresses and singing while holding bouquets. The other features a one-shot MV where all of the members wear yukatas and do fun festival stuff. They do have one thing in common though: they’re both awesome.
> =LOVE cross paths at night in the MV for Niji no Moto
=LOVE are rapidly becoming one of my favorite idol groups because of their unique approach to music. They’re vibrant and happy most of the time, but they’re not afraid to explore a bit. Now we’re going to experience that through a rather touching MV that shows what it feels to grow up and cross paths with someone who you used to know. It’s a must-watch!
> Kyary Pamyu Pamyu grows a beard and fights against social media in the MV for Kimi ga Ii ne Kuretara
Kyary has been out of the music scene for some time but she made her comeback recently and it’s amazing to say the least. There are polygon fights, mannequins, a large amount of facial hair, and even some 3D versions of Kyary. Needless to say, this is a beautiful mess of an MV, and I’m sure everyone will love it.
> BABYMETAL are touring the US this fall
BABYMETAL have spent most of their time touring or performing on stage. Well, they’re doing it again, but this time they’re going for a massive tour around the US. There are dates for most areas so make sure to grab your tickets to enjoy some kawaii metal!
> predia bare it all in the MV for NAKED
predia are back with yet another mature release for fans to enjoy. This time, they’re baring it all by showing off a variety of scenes of them as they pose in lingerie and undressing to their underwear in a tasteful way. Needless to say, this release is for the older fans so make sure to give it a watch if you want to enjoy the best in adult idol music.
> Asakura Kiki is taking a break due to her lumbar disc herniation
Kiki is a gem in the idol world. She is incredibly vibrant and her smile can melt even the coldest of hearts. Well, unfortunately we just got news that she would be going on a slight break while she recovers from her lumbar disc herniation. We wish her a speedy recovery and hope to heart more from her soon. Get will soon Kiki!

This week we have Appare! Harajuku and their MV for Upper Line Out since May 1st, the single was released in 3 editions.
Appare! Harajuku are a group that we don’t get a chance to talk about, but thankfully they released a single recently along with an MV so we get to showcase them. Yay! So, what can we expect to see in this MV? A whole lot of lights and catchy electronic beats.
Let’s start off with the lights, there’s a lot of them. They’re flashing on the stage, they’re part of the visual effects, and they’re generally pretty intense. All of that happens as the members all dance and pose on stage to the beat of the song. It’s an intense MV but it’s good that they do since the song is among the best.
The powerful vocals are the standout of this release, since they’re sung with passion. But, the instrumental is no slouch since it’s incredibly vibrant and thunders with each beat. It’s electronic, so those who enjoy music similar to Devil ANTHEM. will feel right at home.
It’s an amazing release that will get you hyped for even more from Appare! Harajuku, so make sure to give that MV a watch below!
