lyrical school go back to the past in the retro movie inspired MV for LAST DANCE.
Out since June 26th, the single will be their 1st digital release and will be part of their album BE KIND REWIND which will be out September 11th.
Retro movies are some of the most inspirational pieces of film out there. These movies might have been released decades ago, but they’re re-watched by millions across the world over and over again. So it’s no surprise that lyrical school are taking inspiration from some of the greatest as they relive some of the best scenes in movie history for their latest MV.
Each scene lasts only a couple of seconds, but we get to see the members recreate Mission Impossible, Back to the Future, James Bond, and more. The scenes are all made with hand-made effects, which adds to the charm of each scene. There are no dance shots, but everyone is sure to love how the scenes are recreated since they’re done with love and care.
LAST DANCE doesn’t appear to have anything to do with the movie scenes we see. But, the song is pretty catchy and has a mellow sound that is perfect to chill to. It has a couple of rapping segments in there but there are a few sung lines that work nicely with the rest of the song.
