NMB48 “Koi wo Isoge” MV Released

NMB48 Amagami Hime Cover B
Type B

NMB48 have released the MV for Team M’s Koi wo Isoge.

The track will be released on April 27th as Type B of Amagami Hime.

The song itself has a playful tone to it, and it matches the MV perfectly, with the members doing cute and playful things in colorful settings which is a nice change from the other more standard settings the group is used to doing.

While the song might be a tad forgetful, it’s certainly one to watch since the colors show off the bright and fun side of the group!

NMB48 “Hakanai Monogatari” MV Released

NMB48 Amagami Hime Cover A
Type A

NMB48 have released the MV for Team N’s Hakanai Monogatari.

The track is part of the Type A version of Amagami Hime and will be released April 27th.

With a laid back idol sound and scenes of the members walking the streets of Japan, it’s certainly one of those songs that might not impress at first glance but it has a deep catchy sound that is sure to grow on you.

Of course, the addition of the Japanese style to the instrumental is a nice touch, and the members singing along as they walk through the street and share tender moments is one that fans will love.

Well worth a look for fans of the group and slower songs!

NMB48 “Ferry” MV Released

NMB48 Amagami Hime Cover A
Type A

NMB48 have released the MV for their song Ferry.

Releasing April 27th as part of their 14th single titled Amagami Hime (which we already got to see a few days ago), this single is gearing up to be a solid one.

In this video we get to see a guy get beat up by the members in a school setting, which might or might not be a good thing depending on your tastes.

Alongside that the song itself has a happy tone and features a catchy sound that is sure to have you swaying along as the poor guy gets rejected over and over again.

It might bring back bitter memories of getting rejected, but the ways they reject him are creative and well worth a look, so make sure to check it out after the break!

NMB48 “Amagami Hime” MV Released

NMB48 Amigami Hime MV

NMB48 have released the MV for their 14th single titled Amagami Hime.

Releasing April 27th, this single will be available in 5 editions:

The MV itself starts off with an interesting tunnel scene, but it soon starts it seems like they went for a unique look that we haven’t seen from them.

Shoplifting, biting, stealing food, and scenes of pill bottles and broken glass fill the MV. In a way it makes me think of Deep Girl, since the imagery is a bit too unlike the traditional idol look with a harsher look at the negative parts of life.

Despite that, it’s an amazing MV that showcases hard subjects that not many groups tackle so it’s well worth a look alone just for that. As for the song itself it’s not the catchiest, but it’s still pretty solid since it has a hopeful ballad sound.

Make sure to check out this interesting MV from NMB48 alongside the tracklists after the break!

NMB48 “Shigamitsuita Seishun” MV Released

NMB48 Shigamitsuita Seishun MV

The MV for NMB48‘s song titled Shigamitsuita Seishun has been released.

Releasing March 9th as part of AKB48’s upcoming single titled Kimi wa Melody, this single seems like a must have for fans of the more traditional idol songs where dancing to a happy beat in seifukus was the norm.

It’s a catchy style and while the setting might be a bit overused in the idol scene I am loving how it turned out since it seems like a solid song with the vocals sounding on tune with a happy feeling. Alongside that, the use of a more traditional idol instrumental was a welcome addition for those of us who like a bit of a positive sound in our music.

Well worth a look for those who love idols and seifukus!

NMB48’s Kurokawa Hizuki Will Go On Hiatus

NMB48 Kurokawa Hizuki

NMB48’s Kurokawa Kizuki has announced that she will be going on hiatus.

This was announced at the group’s recent performance in Osaka. According to her she will be taking a break from February 4th to focus on her studies, with a projected hiatus of 4 months.

It’s not quite a graduation, but it is still as sad as one since we will be going a few months without her being part of the group. Of course, studies are priority so it’s good to see that she will be focusing on that for the time being.

It’s good to note that she did mention the possibility of her graduating but deciding against it since she does seem dedicated to her ambitions in life.

Best of luck with your studies Kurokawa Hizuki!

Umeda Ayaka Announces Graduation from NMB48

AKB48 Umeda Ayaka Graduation

Former AKB48 member Umeda Ayaka has announced her graduation from NMB48.

AKB48 Umeda Ayaka

She is the last 2nd generation member after Kobayashi Kana announced her graduation as well.

It’s surprising when a graduation announcement happens, but having all of the members of a generation leave in the same space of time is an interesting occurrence. Most likely it seems like the members realized that they wish to leave around the same time to allow the newer generations to shine.

No reason was given for her graduation so we don’t know her reasoning behind her decision, but we wish her all the best as she moves on to bigger things, good luck Umeda Ayaka!
