The covers for ANGERME’s Desugita Kui wa Utarenai / Dondengaeshi / Watashi have been released.

Since this is Fukuda Kanon’s last single it seems appropriate for her to have her own editions and I’m glad to see that they look amazing. Each a-side has its own two copies so fans can choose whichever they enjoy the most and they have stepped up their game with a unique concept for all of them.

I’m loving the clean look of the Regular versions but of course, they each have their charm, with Limited A featuring an eye-catching style as well. If you ever worried you wouldn’t find the perfect cover for your collection, then worry no more since you have 6 amazing covers to choose from

November 11 is the date we get to enjoy the single, so it’s just a matter of weeks. Consider getting a copy to support Kanon’s last single with the group!

Kanjani8 Announce New Single “Samurai Song”

Kanjani8 have announced the release of their new single titled Samurai Song.

The song will be used as the theme song for the drama Samura Sensei which premiered today with Nishikido Ryo in the starring role.

With the drama out in the wild, it seems like fans have already gotten a taste of Kanjani8’s newest release and from the name alone it seems like a unique title. From the title it seems like it might be about Samurai, I’m not sure why but it’s a feeling.

Regardless we don’t have much info about it with the rest of the single currently untitled, so with the single being set for release on December 2 we’re a month away from finding out!

C-ute “Arashi wo Okosunda Exciting Fight” MV Released

The MV for C-ute’s Arashi wo Okosunda Exciting Fight has been released.

We got a chance to enjoy the preview pretty early on and from what we heard it was a fast paced anime oriented song that stood out because of its energy. The good thing is that the MV is amazing. The outfits are stylish. The setting, while confusing at times, is quite nice once you get used to it. The wrestling montage does make sense too as well as that’s a relief since it matches the theme of the song.

I’m a particular fan of the “Ahh no! Bees!” movement they do at the 0:26 mark, but the standout of the MV has to be the fire effect around the end since it looks epic when combined with the music and the guitar solo going on.

The single is not far off, with the release date being October 28, so pick up your copy if you haven’t and check out the MV after the break!

C-ute “Arigatou ~Mugen no Yell~” Vinyl Cover Released

The vinyl cover for C-ute’s Arigatou ~Mugen no Yell~ / Arashi wo Okosunda Exciting Fight! has been released.

LPs are rapidly growing in popularity with many stores in the US such as Urban Outfitters offering LPs and players in stores for those looking for an alternative to CDs and digital mediums so thankfully H!P seems to be on board.

The tracklist seems similar to most of the other CD offerings:

It will be released in November with reservations being set until October 26 so get a copy if you can!

Yajima Maimi “Flowing” Solo Blu-ray Digest Released

The digest for Yajima Maimi’s upcoming solo Blu-ray titled Flowing has been released.

There is a weird moment where the camera just runs off when Maimi goes up the stairs to later find her reading a book casually, but other than that it’s amazing to see her enjoying the poolside and walking around the interestingly adorned house.

Those who loved the digest (after the break) are definitely encouraged to get their copy since we’ll be getting the Blu-ray on October 21. Just a few days more!

Akimoto Sayaka’s Song To Be Used As Theme For “Bikuu”

Former AKB48 member Akimoto Sayaka announced that her new solo song titled Sengetsu ~Hikari to Yami no Soba de~ will be the theme song for her new starring movie titled Bikuu.

It’s been around 6 years or so since we last got a song from her so it’s quite impressive to see that we will be getting new material, but it’s a perfect way to promote and likewise show off that she still has the talent to do perform. For now it doesn’t seem like there will be some physical release, instead opting for a digital release.

It makes sense since the song probably is probing to see just how it will do but we might be getting a physical release if there are more songs. Since it has been so long since her last release we most likely won’t get more songs but you never know so fingers crossed.

The movie is set to open in theaters on November 14, so everyone is encouraged to check it out. If you’re still on the fence about it, there’s a preview of the song and the movie after the break!

C-ute’s 9th Album Announced

C-ute’s 9th album, currently untitled, has been announced.

The announcement was done at their recent concert performance where they performed a track titled IRON HEART from the album for fans to enjoy.

A concert recording for the song is available but since it’s only available as a download of a rip I won’t be able to link to it, but as soon as a Youtube link is provided I’ll update the post. Regardless, the song is epic, it has an upbeat sound to it with guitars and a jumpy feeling to it that sits an anime perfectly.

I’m hyped for this album! The release date currently being mentioned is for December 23 (pending a store link confirmation), so make sure to put it on your Christmas wish list.

Arashi “Kokoro no Sora” MV Released

The MV for Arashi’s Kokoro no Sora has been released.

As we saw when we got some details from Arashi’s latest album a while ago, it seemed like one of the first songs from the album featured a more Japanese inspired sound to it and from what we can see it seems like that hold up with the MV.

We get to see a passionate guitar player, a Taiko player, as well as some traditional Japanese instruments in front of a Zen garden. The set just seems to exude an amazing Nihonesque feel to it that fits the song well.

Perfume “STAR TRAIN” Teaser and Preview Released

A short teaser and preview for Perfume’s STAR TRAIN have been released.

The teaser consists of 30 seconds of video where we get to see an empty room with the members walking away from the screen with a movie projector in the middle. The song isn’t long at all and it’s basically just that: a teaser. Yet, it gives us a good idea of what kind of theme the MV will have.

If that isn’t enough there is a full preview for the song courtesy of a radio rip and so far the song sounds quite solid
