Encore

This week we have Kamishi Todoroku, Gekijou no Shiku, also known as Shingeki, and their MV for their latest single titled Jiko Tsugoushugi Metamorphose. Out August 8th, the single will be released in 6 editions.

Are you ready for a confusing MV? Well, get ready for Jiko Tsugoushugi Metamorphose.

In it we get to see Shingeki as they combine a variety of styles into one song. Slow rapping? Check. Spoken lines? Check. Electronic idol? Check. A wacky bridge? Check. The list goes on and on. I’m unsure if they knew what kind of song they wanted or if they just mixed in as many half finished songs as they could but it’s a big change when compared to their last MV.

It’s a confusing song, but the visuals are relatively straightforward. We get to see the group as they perform in a warehouse, in a house, and a dungeon. It’s pretty eye catching with every member having a unique look that is sure to appeal to different fans.

The group might have a mouthful of a name but they’re worth a look if you’re into electronic idol groups that go for the incredibly weird. Make sure to check out the MV below!
