AKB48 play with cubes in the trippy MV for “Suki” no Tane.
Out September 19th, the track is part of their 53rd single titled Sentimental Train.
Remember how we mentioned that all the MVs for AKB48’s 53rd single had been released? Well, there’s one more left it seems and it’s actually a strong contender for the best MV out of all of the single.
Taking place in a dark room, we get to see the members as they sit in a variety of lit up cubes. Not enough cubes for your taste? Don’t worry, we soon get to see them as they hold up cubes, run towards cubes, and even become part of cubes. It’s an eye-catching series of effects that work perfectly with the scenes of them dancing to the beat of the song.
But, what about the song? “Suki” no Tane is unique in that there is some guitar included in the track to complement the beat. It’s pretty upbeat when compared to other tracks and has a rather catchy style that is sure to impress fans who prefer a bit more punch to their music.
That should be the last MV for this release, so if you’re a fan of what you’ve seen so far make sure to grab a copy of that single!
