EMPiRE dance in Budapest for their 2nd single’s MV titled SUCCESS STORY.
Out July 17th, the single will be released in 2 editions.
SUCCESS STORY will be used as the OP theme for the Playstation 4 / STEAM / Nintendo Switch game SD Gundam G Generation Cross Raise game. In addition, the lyrics for the coupling track maybe blue were written by MAYU EMPiRE.
That being said, it’s been a while since we last heard from EMPiRE. Since the departure of YUKA EMPiRE, EMPiRE announced auditions to replace her. They found a new member that seems like a great match back in April called NOW EMPiRE:
Since then, they’ve been performing and doing idol things at one man performances and concerts. But, it’s been a while since we got a single and thankfully that’s changing soon enough with the release of SUCCESS STORY.
In the MV, we get to see EMPiRE as they dance in front of some impressive architecture in Budapest. It’s a simple release since most of the scenes show off the members just dancing, but the fact that the members took a trip to Budapest to film an MV in a palace is a treat for those who haven’t seen the area.
As for the song, EMPiRE traditionally go for songs that are slower and ballad driven. However, SUCCESS STORY has a funky sound that is sure to capture the hearts of many. It’s fast paced and has a nice beat to it, with a great guitar solo included in the bridge.
It’s the latest and greatest from EMPiRE, so make sure to give it a listen and grab a copy of the single to show your support!
