Country Girls “Ranrarun ~Anata ni Muchuu~” MV Released

Country Girls Ranrarun Anata Muchuu MV

Country Girls have released the MV for their single titled Ranrarun ~Anata ni Muchuu.

Releasing March 9th, this is the final of the triple a-side single previews with the Boogie Woogie LOVE and Koi wa Magnet MVs being released a few weeks ago.

While we have already explored the funky sounds of the 60’s and a more traditional idol ballad sound, we have now come to an interesting place where we go for a fun but lighthearted ballad with a 20’s feel to it.

How much more can we go back? Well if the French scenery doesn’t get you in a romantic mood, then the members dressed up in Charlie Chaplin-esque outfits is sure to do that.

The look of the MV is just amazing, with the cardboard French scenery being the main draw, alongside the members dressed up in cute outfits as well as male counterparts where they ask each other out.

Alongside that the sound of the song is light, a bit too light at times but the beat is soft and just enough to make you want to sing along.

Overall this song is an amazing addition and the perfect way to complete the single. Will you be getting a copy? Let us know and make sure to check out the MV after the break!

Country Girls’ Ozeki Mai 1st Solo Blu-ray Announced

Country Girls Ozeki Mai Greeting Cover

Country Girls have announced that Ozeki Mai will be releasing her 1st solo Blu-ray titled Greeting ~Ozeki Mai~.

Pre-orders will take place from now until March 23rd, with shipping starting in late April.

Country Girls are certainly a unique group, but with all of the members of the group it might be a bit hard to get to know them well. Thankfully it seems like solo blu-rays are starting to be released and with it comes a chance to get to know the members well.

Scenes of her running in a field in a cool Letterman jacket as well as the all too traditional seifuku are a good way to showcase her, and while the preview might only be around 2 minutes long it does give us a nice preview of what to expect.

Overall it’s a nice way to showcase Ozeki Mai, so make sure to check it out after the break!

Country Girls “Koi wa Magnet” MV Released

Country Girls Koi wa Magnet MV

Country Girls have released the MV for their single titled Koi wa Magnet.

Part of their upcoming triple a-side single alongside Boogie Woogie LOVE / Ranrarn ~Anata ni Muchuu~ which will be released March 9th.

While Boogie Woogie LOVE had a more funky sound, this song has a more passionate ballad sound that matches the traditional idol feel of the title.

Calm, relaxing, catchy, and full of chimes with a slight electronic touch during the bridge of the song. It’s certainly a solid entry into this release, despite the somewhat repetitive setting they are in and the blur effect in some shots.

Worth a look for fans of the calm type of songs!

Country Girls “Boogie Woogie LOVE” MV Released

Country Girls Boogie Woogie Love

Country Girls have released the MV for Boogie Woogie LOVE.

Releasing March 9th, this song is notable for having a funky look with a 60’s roller disco cafe theme to it thanks to the covers which were released earlier.

As expected, there is a funky instrumental full of Jazz tones that mix perfectly with the vocals of the members to form a solid song that is sure to have you jamming.

I’m not that big of a fan of songs with Jazz, but I have to admit that this song is catchy with a sound that replicates the era well. The addition of the cafe is a nice touch, and while it resorts to the usual idol shots of the members looking at the camera and singing, it is still a good setting.

Overall it’s an amazing song with a Jazzy overtone, but the lack of other areas in the MV seems to drag on at times. Still it’s recommended for those who are fans of that type of song!

Country Girls “Boogie Woogie LOVE” Covers Released

Country Girls Boogie Woogie Love Cover Regular A
Regular A

The covers for the next Country Girls single titled Boogie Woogie LOVE / Koi wa Magnet / Ranrarun ~Anata ni Muchuu~ have been released.

Apart from featuring a mouthful of a title, the single will be released in 6 editions on March 9th, 3 limited and 3 regular versions. This will also be the 1st single for the new generation featuring Funaki Musubu and Yanagawa Nanami.

Like always, Hello! Project is great at providing us a variety of covers with different themes for each of the songs and for the most part most of them are pretty solid.

The main track Boogie Woogie LOVE seems to have a nice 60’s sound to it with the roller disco outfits and setting that we get to see. In contrast, Koi wa Magnet seems to have more of a ballad feel with the title and blue dresses in a somber place.

Ranrarun is the interesting one since it’s apparently a cover of a song by Linda Scott titled I’ve Told Every Little Star, which is a bit out of the ordinary since covers aren’t that common. Still, it gives them a nice chance to showcase the song in a new way.

Overall, the covers are solid and well worth a look!

Country Girl’s Morito Chisaki To Release Mini-PB

Country Girls Morito Chisaki PB

Morito Chisaki from the Country Girls will be releasing a mini-PB titled Greeting-Photobook-.

Releasing February 19th, the PB will feature scenes from her solo DVD that was released back in September titled Greeting ~Morito Chisaki~.

A mini-PB might not exactly be a full release but I’m glad to see that fans will be able to have a release to enjoy from Chisaki since not many members get to have one of their own.

As expected, if you have already seen the solo DVD then you know exactly what to expect once it’s released.

Make sure to check out the H!P site for more info on how to order, but it’s definitely a must have for Chisaki fans!

Inaba Manaka Solo Blu-ray Announced

Greeting Inaba Manaka

Country Girls’ Inaba Manaka has announced the release of her 1st solo Blu-ray titled Greeting ~Manaka Inaba~.

As most of you might know, I’m not that big of a fan of bikini shots in these kinds of videos, and thankfully the focus is more on other outfits, such as a cute maid outfit as well as a schoolgirl outfit.

Regardless, this is a perfect opportunity for fans of Country Girls to get to know her a bit more.

Release is set for late February, but pre-orders will be taking until January 13, so anyone who is curious is encouraged to get a copy!

So far there isn’t much information about them apart from the short profiles, but Funaki Musubu might be familiar a bit more with H!P. Both for her longer tenure in H!P but also due to her auditioning for Morning Musume 12th generation.

It will be exciting to see where it goes from here, but until then welcome Musubu and Nanami!
