Flower “Hitomi no Oku no Milky Way” MV Released

Flower Hitomi no Oku no Milky Way

Flower has released the MV for their song Hitomi no Oku no Milky Way.

No, it’s not a song about the candy that almost everyone loves, but it’s equally sweet with a soft and catchy beat that is sure to have you looking up to the stars as you hear the members sing and pose in various grungy parts of the city.

As expected of Flower, the vocals are amazing with a nice rhythm alongside some nice dancing in the middle of the MV. It’s a nice song to enjoy on a calm night, so fans of a more mature idol sound will be happy.

Release is set for December 16, so it’s just a few weeks away!

Flower “Hitomi no Oku no Ginga” Covers Released

Covers for Flower’s single titled Hitomi no Oku no Ginga have been released.

Since the group has a more mature sound I’m not surprised to see that the covers have a more mature tone to them, with a black and white filter as well as softer colors and even a full white shadowed look.

The Limited version is looking sharp, but it’s basically the colored version of the Regular E so in a way it doesn’t seem to stand out that much to me. Regular C though, it’s like a pink flower in the middle of a black and white field of idols.

Which one is your favorite? Make sure to let us know and check out the tracklists after the break.

December 16 is the date, so make sure to get that copy pre-ordered!

Not much info is known about the release at the moment apart from the theme song being used from October 3rd in the anime, but we might be getting cover pictures soon since the release is around a month away.

Ichiki Kyoka To Leave E-Girls and FLOWER, Retire From Entertainment Industry

Ichiki Kyoka

Ichiki Kyoka has announced that she will be graduating from both E-Girls and FLOWER, as well as retiring from the entertainment industry.

According to Ichiki, she has reflected upon the idea of leaving the entertainment industry to live a life of a regular person. This means that FLOWER will continue as a 6 member group with Washio Reina taking the reigns for vocals.

While it’s sad to see a member leave it’s always an interesting decision that not many understand. Sure, you’re leaving fans who have supported you in all your performances, but sometimes it does seem like a bit overwhelming for the average person so it’s understandable.

Regardless, fans will definitely have the previous releases to enjoy material with her. It will be interesting to see how it will go from now on since the group will have a few changes here and there to accomodate the smaller group size.

Good luck Ichiki Kyoka!

Flower’s 11th Single Will Be The Ending Theme For “Kindaichi Case Files”

Flower 255

Flower’s 11th single titled Hitomi no Oku no Ginga (Milky Way) will be used as the ending theme for the anime Kindaichi Case Files.

In addition, Flower member Washio Reina will be a guest voice actress in the anime. Here are some details from TokyoHive:

Kindaichi Case File

Washio will voice “Tengen Kaori”, the ace of an Igo club that belongs to a high school that will challenge Fudo High School, the school attended by protagonist ‘Kindaichi Hajime’. On her first time voice acting, Washio commented, “I will do my best to bring out a new ‘me’ while being cautious of the character’s image.

Having an anime tie-in always helps a group so it’s nice to see that they will get some promotion from this interesting Ace Attorney-like series. More details to come!
