SKE48’s Kato Rumi To Graduate

SKE48 Team E Kato Rumi

SKE48 has announced that Team E’s Kato Rumi will be graduating.

The announcement was done at their recent performance at SKE48 Theater. According to her, it was painful to part ways with fans and members of the group, but she has decided to walk a new path. She will remain in the entertainment business.

No final date has been announced for her graduation, but regardless, it’s one of those bitter and sweet moments. Sweet because she will remain in the entertainment business for fans to support and bitter since she will no longer be able to perform as part of SKE48.

Regardless, best of luck Kato Rumi!

NMB48 “Niji no Tsukurikata” MV Released

NMB48 Amagami Hime Cover D
Type D

NMB48 have released the MV for the track Niji no Tsukurikata.

The track is part of the Type D version of the Amagami Hime single for the group, which will be releasing April 27th.

As expected of the title (How to make a rainbow), the song is on the lighthearted, with scenes of Ota Yuuri, Yabushita Shu, Shibuya Nagisa, Sutou Ririka, and Naiki Kokoro dancing alongside the ocean and playing on the fields in the ever so popular seifukus.

The song is laid back, and a bit on the calm side so it won’t be the main standout of the single. But it is the perfect way to start your weekend so make sure to check it out!

  2. AXIS

  11. Don’t leave me alone
  12. You made my day

As expected of the title, the track itself has an EDM styled with a Japanese touch as well as a Ninja theme that is sure to have you watching until the end.

It’s notably more on the lighter side of their music, since the guitars are a bit toned back and instead of full on screaming we get to see the members playfully running away from a group of ninjas (there are a few here and there).

Is this the heaviest track this group has released? No, but it’s a cute way to show off their musical talent with an adorable style and setting, so make sure to check it out!

ANGERME “Tsugitsugi Zokuzoku” MV Released

ANGERME Tsugitsugi Zokuzoku Limited A

ANGERME have released the MV for Tsugitsugi Zokuzoku.

This is the 1st track to get an MV, with it being part of their upcoming single titled Itoshima Distance / Koi Nara Tokku ni Hajimatteru which will be released on April 27th. The covers were released recently.

With a solid marching styled beat as the members sing alongside to the strong EDM styled instrumental, it’s safe to say that ANGERME are slowly but surely turning into a force to be reckoned with in the idol world.

Sure, the setting might be a bit too standard, but the fact that it matches the EDM sound, it makes for an amazingly solid song that is sure to have you in awe.

ANGERME are maturing into an amazing idol group, so make sure to check out the MV for this catchy song!

C-ute “Summer Wind” MV Released

C-ute Summer Wind Limited Cover
Limited B

C-ute have released the MV for their upcoming single titled Summer Wind.

The track will be released on April 20th as part of their 29th triple A-side single alongside Naze Hito wa Arasoundaro? and Jinsei wa STEP! which we already have seen MVs for.

We’ve seen C-ute tackle a swing sound, as well as a funkier sound, but a traditional mature sound is something we haven’t seen yet … until now.

Summer Wind has an amazing sound, and one that is amplified by the white room setting and the beach scenes. The simple look allows us to focus on the amazing dancing and vocals of the members and minimally shows off just how talented they are.

It’s a mature sound that showcases what C-ute is capable of, so make sure to check it out!

Type B

NMB48 have released the MV for Team M’s Koi wo Isoge.

The track will be released on April 27th as Type B of Amagami Hime.

The song itself has a playful tone to it, and it matches the MV perfectly, with the members doing cute and playful things in colorful settings which is a nice change from the other more standard settings the group is used to doing.

While the song might be a tad forgetful, it’s certainly one to watch since the colors show off the bright and fun side of the group!

NMB48 “Hakanai Monogatari” MV Released

NMB48 Amagami Hime Cover A
Type A

NMB48 have released the MV for Team N’s Hakanai Monogatari.

The track is part of the Type A version of Amagami Hime and will be released April 27th.

With a laid back idol sound and scenes of the members walking the streets of Japan, it’s certainly one of those songs that might not impress at first glance but it has a deep catchy sound that is sure to grow on you.

Of course, the addition of the Japanese style to the instrumental is a nice touch, and the members singing along as they walk through the street and share tender moments is one that fans will love.

Well worth a look for fans of the group and slower songs!

ANGERME 25th Single Covers Released

ANGERME Tsugitsugi Zokuzoku Regular A
Regular A

ANGERME has released the covers for their single Tsugitsugi Zokuzoku / Itoshima Distance / Koi Nara Tokku ni Hajimatteru.

Releasing April 27th, this will be the group’s 25th single. This will also be the last single for Tamura Meimi who announced her graduation, as well as the 1st for 4th generation member Kamikokuryo Moe who joined ANGERME recently.

While they might be fairly standard I am surprised to see that Meimi will not be having her own cover. Sure, she is featured in the middle of Regular A so that alone could be enough but having a few more covers to showcase her would have been nice.

Regardless they are a nice mix of covers and ones that show off previews of the soon to come MVs for the single. I’m loving the covers for Itoshima Distance especially since the white outfits suggest a more mature sounding single.

Make sure to get a copy since this seems like a must have for fans of ANGERME!
