Namie Amuro To Release MV For Hatsune Miku Collaboration Song “B Who I Want 2 B”

Namie Amuro _genic.

Namie Amuro has announced that her collaboration song with Hatsune Miku titled B Who I Want 2 B will have an MV.

The MV will have an animation style that suits the Vocaloid idol with some real world added in for a unique style.

While the song might sound like a text a rebellious teenager might send to a friend, it does seem solid so far so I’ll be definitely on the lookout for this MV.

The MV will be released sometime in October with the album already out since June 10.

Babymetal Announce Solo Concert In London

Babymetal

Babymetal have announced they’ll have a solo concert at SSE Arena in London.

Here’s a quote with reactions from Nihongogo:

Moa Kikuchi shared her thoughts on the recent announcement “I was shocked. I’m so happy that we have the opportunity to play for so many people around the world regardless of their gender, age, or the countries they live in. Suzuka Nakamoto agrees “Honestly, I still can’t believe it. I’m already so excited to having a concert in England again!” Yui Mizuno followed up “I promise to push myself to the limits to overcome all obstacles.”

Personally I’m excited to see that they are making their way around the world so fans of this unique group will get a chance to enjoy their music.

The stadium apparently seats around 12,000 so there’s definitely enough space for everyone to go so I highly suggest if you’re in the area that you get your tickets since it seems like one of those concerts that is too great to pass up.

The concert is set for April 2, 2016.

Flower’s 11th Single Will Be The Ending Theme For “Kindaichi Case Files”

Flower 255

Flower’s 11th single titled Hitomi no Oku no Ginga (Milky Way) will be used as the ending theme for the anime Kindaichi Case Files.

In addition, Flower member Washio Reina will be a guest voice actress in the anime. Here are some details from TokyoHive:

Kindaichi Case File

Washio will voice “Tengen Kaori”, the ace of an Igo club that belongs to a high school that will challenge Fudo High School, the school attended by protagonist ‘Kindaichi Hajime’. On her first time voice acting, Washio commented, “I will do my best to bring out a new ‘me’ while being cautious of the character’s image.

Having an anime tie-in always helps a group so it’s nice to see that they will get some promotion from this interesting Ace Attorney-like series. More details to come!

LADYBABY To Make American Debut in New York

LADYBABY 233

LADYBABY have announced that they will make their American debut in New York at SOB.

When the group came out it was certainly a surprise since not many groups exist with that theme other than Babymetal. Regardless of the similar theme it seems that the group does have a unique concept – a big bearded guy as one of their members with a more poppy sound.

I’m definitely excited that they will be able to come by and perform for those curious enough in NY since it’s certainly a unique concept.

Kawaii Death fans are in for a treat so if you’re in the area definitely check out the group!

The event will take place on October 11.

E-Girl’s New Single Titled “Dance Dance Dance”

E-Girls 235

The title for E-Girl’s newest single has been revealed to be Dance Dance Dance.

It’s being described as a song with a disco feel that highlight the great dancing skills of the group.

Seems like it will be a great release for the time alongside other disco tuned releases such as AKB48’s newest single Halloween Night, so it will be fun to see how it sounds.

The single is out on September 30.

SCANDAL To Represent Japan in ABU TV Song Festival 2015

Scandal 235

SCANDAL will be the Japanese representative on a Turkey music festival titled ABU TV SONG FESTIVAL 2015.

The event will also be viewable on participating countries so Japanese fans should be able to see it on BS Premium, NHK Sogou, and NHK World.

SCANDAL is one of those bands that embody the best qualities of Japanese music, mixing rock and idol aesthetics to form a unique sound so it’s great to see that they were chosen to represent Japan for this event. From what I can tell SCANDAL will be performing their recent release Sisters so fans are definitely in for a treat.

The event will take place October 28.
