C-ute “Arigatou ~Mugen no Yell~” MV Released

C-ute 235

The MV for half of C-ute’s upcoming single titled Arigatou ~Mugen no Yell has been released.

News for this single is coming fast! We just revealed the covers for the single a while ago and thankfully it seems like we are getting the MV for half of the single we haven’t had a chance to experience yet.

It’s basically a soft ballad sound accompanied by a montage of C-ute rehearsing for the song alongside images of wrestling. Some might argue, what do the random wrestling shots have to do with a slow song? Sure, at times the music and the shots of people wrestling seem to contradict at times but the lyrics are a perfect fit with a strong focus on hard work resulting in success.

Instead of the upbeat song we heard for the other half of the single we get a chance to enjoy a song that many would sing after winning a tournament.

Check out the MV for yourself after the break, but so far it seems like this release will be amazing.

The single will be released October 28 so it’s just a matter of weeks!

BoA To Release New Japanese Single Titled “Lookbook”

BoA

BoA will be releasing her first Japanese single in a year titled Lookbook.

The song itself will include an EDM vibe to it. Alongside the main track there will also be two others, one being a Japanese version of her single Kiss My Lips as well as a recent version of her 2004 single titled Meri Kuri.

BoA is talented. Not much can be said against that since her voice and natural rapping style seems to result in amazing songs that capture the hearts of many. With this new release though Japanese fans are in for a treat since we’ll get a chance to enjoy some great new songs with a heavy single that seems to have a unique sound to it with the inclusion of EDM.

Of course, we don’t have many details about the single apart from that but I’m definitely liking what I have seen so far so be on the lookout for the single!

The release date is set for December 9, just in time for Christmas.

Juice=Juice To Act in “Budoukan” TV Drama

Juice=Juice

Juice=Juice will be acting as the members of a fictional idol group titled NEXT YOU in the TV drama titled Budoukan.

The series follows the group as they strive to perform at the famous Nippon Budoukan. Tsunku, former Hello! Project producer will be included as well where he will be producing the group as well as composing songs and images for the costumes and choreography for the group. The drama is based off a book by Ryo Asai.

It doesn’t seem like Tsunku will be acting, but a producer based off him will be acting. It’s somewhat sad to see that he won’t but due to his situation it’s understandable. Still, this is great news for the group since it seems like a great way to promote their abilities while getting some acting experience.

There is an interesting tidbit though, Juice=Juice will be acting as NEXT YOU while the drama is being broadcasted, with handshake events, lives, as well as TV performances as the fictional group so fans are in for a treat since they’ll get a chance to enjoy a real life version of the drama.

The series will start shooting in November so make sure to check it out!

BAND-MAID Announce New Album “New Beginning”

BAND-MAID

BAND-MAID have announced the release of a new mini-album titled New Beginning.

The mini-album will feature 9 songs, including a remastered version of their song Thrill alongside a DVD packed with MVs.

Maid costumes. Japan is probably more well known for this particular outfit than anything else due to their use in Anime, and yet not many bands have used them to their full potential. Enter BAND-MAID.

This particular band has a heavy rock sound alongside English vocals and a maid outfit theme that is sure to please many fans. Being a big fan of SCANDAL I was happy to see that the band features a unique style of rock to complement their look since at first glance it seemed to be simply a gimmick.

Regardless, the band is promoting New Beginning with the release of an MV for a new song posted after the break. Those who don’t know the band that well are certainly in for a treat since it’s similar to SCANDAL with a hard rock sound combined with the adorable maid costumes!

The release date is set for November 4.

The song Love to Peace! itself will be used as the theme song for a drama titled Isan Souzoku, featuring an uptempo sound with a ballad feel.

New releases are great news and nothing feels better as a fan to hear that a song will not only be an a-side, but that it will also be released as a double a-side with one of the songs being used for a theme song.

Of course, so far we don’t the covers or a sound preview but we should be getting a few in the coming weeks since the release of the song is less than a month away.

Ichiki Kyoka To Leave E-Girls and FLOWER, Retire From Entertainment Industry

Ichiki Kyoka

Ichiki Kyoka has announced that she will be graduating from both E-Girls and FLOWER, as well as retiring from the entertainment industry.

According to Ichiki, she has reflected upon the idea of leaving the entertainment industry to live a life of a regular person. This means that FLOWER will continue as a 6 member group with Washio Reina taking the reigns for vocals.

While it’s sad to see a member leave it’s always an interesting decision that not many understand. Sure, you’re leaving fans who have supported you in all your performances, but sometimes it does seem like a bit overwhelming for the average person so it’s understandable.

Regardless, fans will definitely have the previous releases to enjoy material with her. It will be interesting to see how it will go from now on since the group will have a few changes here and there to accomodate the smaller group size.

Good luck Ichiki Kyoka!

Nogizaka46 “Ima, Hanashitai Dareka ga Iru” MV Released

Nogizaka46 Ima, Hanashitai Dareka ga Iru Regular

Nogizaka46 have released the MV for Ima, Hanashitai Dareka ga Iru.

Shortly after reporting about the release of the covers and details for the single we get a chance to enjoy the MV and from what I can hear the song sounds quite solid with an amazing, catchy sound that is sure to make fans of the group smile.

Unfortunately, the MV is only available in Japan from what I can tell but a quick plugin should help solve the problem. If you manage to be able to check out the MV I hope you enjoy it, if not then I’ll make sure to update the post with a more visible version of the MV.

Check out the MV after the break alongside updated tracklists for the versions!

The release date is set for October 28.
